Mar 6, 2010 Pet Control Issue:  There has been in increase of feral cats wandering into our neighborhood.  This problem has plagued this part of the county for years and Animal Control is aware of the issue.  They will be taking active measures as this is a serious health issue as many of these cats are know to carry diseases to include rabies.

It is the associations responsibility to remind our residents that Gloucester County has a strict animal control ordinance. If you're experiencing problems with strays, (cats or dogs),
contact animal control at 693-5290 during normal duty hours and at 693-3890 for emergencies after normal duty hours, weekends, and holidays.  Taking pictures (from a safe distance) of these strays and sending to animal control is highly encouraged to help identify these strays.

This is also good time to remind our children about stray animals no matter how cute, cuddly, and friendly they may seem.
